Thomaston – Mrs. Jane Bryson (Williamson) Wooden, 79, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, at Cook – Willow Health Care in Plymouth. She was the wife of Paul V. Wooden.
Jane was born December 15, 1942 in Jersey City, New Jersey, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Cameron) Williamson. Raised in Scotch Plains, NJ she attended local schools and was a graduate of Scotch Plains Fanwood High School, class of 1960.
Jane moved to Thomaston in the late 70’s and worked various jobs; including Risdon Manufacturing, where she met her future husband, Paul. They were married in 1984. She enjoyed walks, traveling, word search puzzles, antiquing and selling costume jewelry at local flea markets.
In addition to her husband of 38 years, she is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Williamson (Maryann); her sisters, Marjoh Velletri (Joseph) and Judith Eva (David) and her nephews, Steven Eva and Joseph R. Velletri.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 28, at 1:00 P.M. at the Hillside Cemetery 1 Marine St. Thomaston. T
