Janice Maringola

Janice McCarthy Maringola passed on peacefully on February 15.  She was born on June 10, 1953 in Waterbury, CT and graduated from Wilby High School. 
 
She will be remembered as a homemaker, an animal lover and an amazing cook.  She opened her home and kitchen to everyone. 
 
In recent years, she enjoyed travelling to visit her daughters out of state.  Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially on vacations in Rhode Island. When home in Waterbury, she spent most of her time with her loving daughter Kaela.
 
Her four daughters were her pride and joy; Michele Bonacassio of Vero Beach, FL, Alicia Garcia, of Tampa , FL, Tiana Garcia Ibarra of Silverthorne, CO and Kaela Marie Maringola of Waterbury, CT.   She was a loving Nana to three grandchildren, Michaela, Lylah and Sage. 
 
She is also survived by her siblings, Ellen Knowles, Joan Squatriglia, Paul McCarthy and Lois McCarthy.  She is predeceased by her parents, John McCarthy and Eleanor Mack-McCarthy, her brother Richard McCarthy, and sister Susan McCarthy, all of Waterbury.
