Karie Marie Manning

Northfield – Mrs. Karie Marie Manning. 44, passed away on Saturday. June 11, 2022 at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. After bravely fighting a long illness, she was surrounded by her loving family.

Karie was born February 10, 1978 in Torrington, daughter of the late David Thompson, Sr and Diane Marie (Snowden) Crocco and her husband Edward Crocco. She was raised in Northfield, where she attended local schools, and was a graduate of Litchfield High School, class of 1996. Shortly after graduating, Karie moved to Maine where she began her life, and family.

A dedicated wife and mother she took great pride in her domestic endeavors. Karie, and her husband Eric could often be found with their compound bow at the range. They were gracious hosts to all who knew them, always ready with the grill, and good laughs for whoever stopped by. Known in the community as a couple who would go above and beyond to help anyone in need.

In addition to her parents, Karie is survived by her son, Marc Manning of Waldoboro, ME; her daughter, Elizabeth Marie Manning and her fiance Christopher Bezio Jr. of Torrington; her granddaughter, Oaklynn Marie Bezio, her Step brother, Eddie Crocco and fiancé Holly Albert from Harwinton; Laura Thompson of Jefferson, ME; six loving Nieces and Nephews, and her lifelong best friend/Sister Michelle Tremblett of Thomaston, CT.

Karie is predeceased by her husband, Eric J. Manning. Her older brother, David Thompson Jr. And her father, David Thompson Sr.
