Mrs Lise J. Levesque

Thomaston – Mrs. Lise J. (Cote) Levesque, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, July 29 surrounded by loved ones, at the Waterbury Hospital.
Lise was born September 8, 1954 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, daughter of the late Ernest and Noela (Heyne) Cote. She grew up living in Florida, Australia, St. Croix and Cape Cod. She always spoke fondly of Australia and of her childhood years there. Her lifelong love for horses stemmed from her catching and taming wild horses in St. Croix. In her teen years, she moved to Thomaston, Connecticut where she met her husband of 40 years, F. David Levesque.
She was skilled at, and had a passion for, working with children with special needs both as a teacher's aide in the Thomaston Public Schools and with preschool children at Head Start.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Jordan D. Levesque; one daughter, Lauren E. Levesque; four siblings, Andrew Cote, Gaynor Cote, Greg Cote, Jay Cote; two grandchildren, Gabriel A. Levesque-Lopes and Ella J. Levesque and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lindsey J. Levesque and her brother, Todd Cote.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be Saturday, August 5th at 10am at Hillside Cemetery.
