Thomaston – Mary Ann (Oris) Labaha, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Peter Labaha.
Mary Ann was born in Danbury on September 27, 1932, to the late Joseph and Margaret (Durkin) Oris. She was raised in Thomaston, attended local schools and was a faithful communicant of St. Thomas Church. Mary Ann worked as a secretary for her entire career, last employed at Petit Tool in Waterbury. She also served for many years on the Thomaston Democratic Committee and on the Green Manor Building Committee. Mrs. Labaha enjoyed celebrating with family and friends, and especially enjoyed live music.
Mrs. Labaha is survived by her brother, John “Jack” Oris, and his wife, Joan, of Torrington; and her nephews, Daniel Oris, and his wife, Susan Sprano; and Steven Oris, and his long-time partner, Rebecca Wilkin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Labaha; and her brother, Robert Oris.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 18 at 10 a.m., at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main Street, Thomaston. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
