Thomaston – Mr. Paul D. Rossini, 92, passed away on Thursday, January 4, at Autumn Lake Health Care in Waterbury. He was the husband of Carole Lukos.

Paul was born July 11, 1925 in Buffalo, New York, son of the late Alexander and Antoinette (Piccolo) Rossini. He had served honorably in the U.S. Army in the Central European Campaign from 1945 to 1946 and was assigned to the 80th Airborne Antiaircraft Battalion. Part of his service was spent in the Glider Division. He returned home to work as a mason, helping build many of Connecticut’s bridges; his favorite past time was riding his Harley Davidson and traveling with his beloved wife.

In addition to his he is survived by one step-son, Michael J. Brasche and his wife Bridgette and their family of Thomaston; one step-daughter, Laura Westby and her husband Kie and their family of Southbury; his aunt, Kathy Piccolo of Williamsport, PA and his daughter, Paulette Rossini.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 20, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Burial will be private.
