Robert Russell Rockhill

Thomaston – Robert R. Rockhill, Sr., 84, passed away on December 30, 2018. He was the husband of Edith (Scatena) Rockhill of 64 years.

Robert was born in Waterbury on December 25, 1934 to the late Lawrence and Martha (Fleck) Rockhill. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as an eyelet tool and die maker retiring from Risdon Manufacturing.

Robert is survived by his wife, Edith Rockhill; his son, Robert Rockhill, Jr., and his wife, Jacqueline; and his daughters, Martha Mannion, and her husband, Christopher; and Donna Masciangioli, and her husband, Jim; his brother, Lawrence "Ed" Rockhill; his sister, Linda Bruce, and her husband, Michael; his grandchildren, Matthew, Annie, and Daniel Rockhill; and his cat, Riley.

He was predeceased by his brother Stuart Rockhill. 

A funeral service will be held at the Congregational Church, 9 Division St., Naugatuck on Saturday, January 12 at 10:00 a.m. Burial following in Grove Cemetery.
