Thomaston – Ronnie Wayne Synott, 47, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 25, 2018.

Ronnie was born on August 25, 1970 in Waterbury, CT. He is survived by his father Wayne D Synott and step-mother Mercedes Synott of Boynton Beach, FL, and his mother Catherine (Cook) Synott of Thomaston, CT. Besides his parents, he is survived by his son, Tyler Synott of Thomaston, CT, three brothers, Daniel Synott of Warren, MA, Mike McGrath and Shawn Quint, both of Thomaston, CT, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Ronnie worked as an Electrical Project Manager at Camsan Electric in Stamford, CT for over 20 years. He was an avid golfer, loved music and playing horseshoes, and cherished the time he was able to spend with his beloved son Tyler. He was always the first person to offer help when it was needed, and his kindness and selfless generosity touched everyone he came in contact with.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Tyler Synott Memorial Fund c/o Webster Bank, 155 Main St., Thomaston ATTN: Jennifer. This fund was set up in memory of Ronnie Synott, and all proceeds will go directly towards the care and education of his son Tyler.
