Warren W. Johnston

Thomaston – Warren W. Johnston, 70, of Thomaston, passed away on November 23, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was the loving husband of 47 years to Geraldine (Cercola) Johnston.
 
Warren was born on June 14, 1951 in Torrington, son of the late Raymond H. and Dorothea (Elsner) Johnston. Warren enjoyed traveling riding his motorcycle and being outdoors camping, kayaking, biking and skiing. Warren also enjoyed building wooden structures and stone walls with the aid of his tractor. 
 
Besides his wife, Warren leaves behind his furry family companion Shelbie and is survived by his siblings, Dean Johnston and his wife Cyndi Johnston, Dorene Martin and her husband Charles Martin, and Donna Johnston and her husband Marcel LeClerc Jr; seven nieces and nephews; and two great-nephews.  
 
Family and friends may call on December 3, 2021 from 10am to noon at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston.  A service will be held at the Funeral Home during calling hours.  Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
