Mr William F. Bellmay Jr

Waterbury – Mr. William F. “Billy” Bellmay, Jr, 63, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, at the Waterbury Hospital.

Billy was born August 14, 1956 in Torrington, son of the late William F. Bellmay and Mary Anne Bellmay. Raised in Thomaston he attended local schools. As a truck driver for many years, Billy enjoyed getting to see the country. He loved riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family and friends, fishing and his animal companions. But the center of his universe and the light of his life was his daughter Kayla. She was his ultimate pride and joy.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Kayla Marie Bellmay of Waterbury; his soul mate Christine T. Janucik with whom he lived; three brothers, Dennis M. Bellmay and his wife Eileen of Thomaston, Robert H. Bellmay of Thomaston and Joseph F. Bellmay and his wife Karen of Terryville; one sister, Lori-Jo Bellmay of Waterbury; his Aunt Sharon Farrell and her husband Greg of Monticello, FL; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews and his cats, Sunny, Cutie, Mya, Stella and Bella. He was predeceased by the mother of his daughter, Lori Ann Mezzo.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 23, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillside Cemetery.
