Dear Ellie,

The news of Chet's death finally reached me, and I want you to know how sorry I am that you have lost your husband of 66 years! From his picture, I can tell he was a really good guy. I hope to see you at the Waterbury Duplicate Bridge club again this summer where I have enjoyed playing with you all these many years.

Regards,
Jackie Del Negro

I met the Chizinski family when my Dad, Don Jones, moved us to Connecticut and started his new job with Eastern Photo. I was only 12. For a 12 yr. old to remember how sweet and kind this family was, (being Chet was my Dad's "Boss"), is really saying something. My whole family worked at EPL at one time or another, and that's exactly how it felt, like a family. When my Dad was killed in a car crash, the support was imeasureable. Mom retired from the eventual CPI., INC., but there were still a lot of the originals from EPL there. When I used to visit my Mom, and I would run into Chet, he always had a smile on his face, and took the time to say hi and ask how I was doing. I remember (before Dad passed) my family going to Chet and Eleanor's home. They welcomed my brother Kurt and I with as much grace and warmth as they did my parents......this is a very sad day... All the memories make me wish we could all go back in time....it leaves me with a heavy heart.... I recently lost both Kurt and my Mom, and Eleanor, (who was going through so much of her own pain), still took the time to send a wonderful, heartfelt card. Thank you for that Eleanor, it meant so much.

Eleanor, Elaine, Tim, Paul and the rest of the family. It was my pleasure to have known Chet, he was a wonderful man. My heart goes out to all of you. He will be missed. I pray that your memories get you through these tough times, and that a smile finds it's way in with those memories. My prayers are with you.

With much love and admiration,
Valerie Jones XO

Dear Tim and Ellen: As neighbors I knew your Dad best from Pequabick Golf. He was pleasant and always a Gentleman, I'm sure he will be sorely missed. Our condolences on your great loss.
