Mario was a benefactor of the Historical Society; a long time member who donated several items related to his tool making business. I knew him also through the Doubles Tennis League. In his later years in Thomaston we talked quite bit about his service in the Navy, his business, Florida, and Italy.
His efforts in establishing the Reeves Memorial Wall have given Thomaston a lasting example of heroic service.
My sympathy to his daughters and to his sister, Emily. We will miss him.
